Summer is drawing to a close here in Perth and, frankly, it couldn’t come quickly enough. I am so over the heat and today promises to be another scorcher with the temperature around 40°C (104°F). Whew!
This mini celebrates all the fantasies of summer – lazy days
on the beach, the languid sipping of iced drinks and the sizzle and smell of
barbecues. And, of course, ice-cream! Yum!
It measures up at 25 inch square and I quilted it in a
diamond spiral, one of several spiral patterns taught by Jacquie Gering in ‘Next
Steps with your Walking Foot’ on Craftsy.
I’m naming this photo ‘are you pleased to see me?’ I didn’t
notice the bulge the knobs on the chest of drawers were making until I looked
at the photos afterwards.
I’m linking up with Sew Cute Tuesday at Blossom HeartQuilts, Needle and Thread Thursday at My Quilt Infatuation and Fabric Frenzy
Friday at Fort Worth Fabrics.
